Injury at work

INJURY AT WORK IS A HARMFUL EVENT THAT OCCURS DURING THE PERFORMANCE OF A WORK ACTIVITY.

• In the workplace.

• During the journey from the worker's home to the workplace.

• Along the path that connects two workplaces (if the worker carries out several dependent work activities).

And it also takes into consideration all the harmful events that occur during the journey to and from the workplace to the one where the worker goes to eat meals: they are the so-called "Accidents while traveling".The law provides for a series of regulations that oblige the worker to be in possession of an insurance that allows them to take advantage of the health benefits due and to obtain adequate compensation for the injury suffered.

INAIL covers all workplace accidents of the worker even if directly caused by the worker.
